PLAYER REQUIREMENTS: While characters can be any age, players must be 21+. Other than that, please make sure you've read the rest of the rules, as well as the About page.
TRIGGER WARNINGS: The Fallout universe has a plethora of warnings to go along with it, but there are a few specific ones to pay attention to:

Body horror, medical/scientific horror, excessive violence, eldritch horror, apocalyptic themes, moral depravity, body transformation, drug use/addiction, sexual themes, cannibalism... ugh damn there's so much man but this should give you an idea of what to expect.
Also keep in mind that the Fallout setting includes parodies of US patriotism and 1950s/60s social norms. While most of it doesn't matter, this is your heads up that there will be occasional but casual disparagement of women, communists, and any non-traditional lifestyles.
IC, NOT OOC: The only good drama is in-character drama! Please be mindful of the fact that we're all playing together in this game, and try not to let interpersonal conflict affect the setting. Likewise, be understanding of each other's time, and know that someone's posting rate isn't indicative of their feelings.
ACTIVITY CHECK: Super simple, just check in with a single example of activity, like a single comment, a whole thread, or a post. If you can do that two months in a row, you'll get an "all good" stamp from me that will means you don't have to do AC at all until I notice you've stopped posting for more than a month in a row.
PARTICIPATION: Everyone is expected to participate! There are two types of events: experiments and expeditions. While most will be voluntary, some events will be considered mandatory. These are mostly the ones affecting the ship as a whole. While you're allowed to play loosely with the event, they must at least be acknowledged in threads set during them. Player participation is the key to expanding the setting, moving the plot forward, and eventually getting back home!
CHARACTER LIMIT: The limit is 3 characters max, over a course of 3 months. Start by applying for one character; after a month, you can apply for a second, and then another the next month. If you want to play more than that, there are a variety of drop options that make re-applying later on easy and emotionally scarring for your backburnered blorbo!
BE NICE TO ME, IT'S THE LAW: Although I'm the mod, I'm also a player who will goof off and sometimes make mistakes! We're all in this together, so understanding and compassion is vital! Basically be nice to me, be nice to your fellow players, don't go around being weird and mean, and we'll all get to torture our blorbos the way god intended
ULTIMATE RESOLUTION: If for any reason you have a problem (with gameplay, another player, or even just trying to figure out something to do with your character), feel free to reach out to me personally and I'll see if I can help! That being said, if I'm asked to make a decision, my say will be final. In the event that I believe other people need to know about your comment, I'll ask for your consent first and try to keep you anonymous if you request it. (An example of this is if you have a problem with an event, I might want to put up a poll on the OOC community to see if there's a better way to do something!)
